Our impact

What holds along the way and after we leave

Since 2023 we have worked across every part of health and social care — public, private and adjacent industries — with organisations, collaboratives and people with lived and living experience. The measure is what lasts: tables that keep meeting, leaders who keep convening, commitments people make to each other and keep.

Reach

Who the work has reached

Since 2023 we have worked with over 2,000 organisations — Ontario Health Teams, provincial and national associations, and cross-sector partners across public, private and adjacent industries.

Impact stories

What changed, and where

Ontario · December 2025

Leaders from all 58 Ontario Health Teams, self-convened

At the inaugural Integrated Care Action Summit, leaders from all 58 OHTs, Primary Care Networks and lived-experience partners came together for the first time since Ontario’s OHT policy was introduced. We led the keynote and a Master Class in deepening collective leadership capacity.

What shifted: for the first time the field convened itself rather than being convened — and 300+ leaders left naming relational capability, not structure, as the work ahead.

Alberta · September 2025

Building Alberta’s possible future together

At the IHE Policy Forum we convened system leaders around a single question: how do we enable an integrated health system in Alberta? The session moved from diagnosis to the enabling conditions participants would own themselves.

What shifted: the conversation moved from depth within Alberta’s four new ministries to the connective tissue between them — with the Integration Council named as the mechanism for hardwiring that interdependence.

Across engagements · 2025

Naming the elephants, then committing

In engagement after engagement, teams openly named the elephants they had been working around — then turned them into individual and collective commitments they made to each other in the room.

What shifted: once named aloud, the elephants moved from private frustration to a shared plan — the room going from defensiveness to curiosity, and closing with commitments people made to each other by name.

What it’s like to work with us — in the words of the people who have.

These past few days, and yesterday in particular with Jodeme, have been personally transformative for me. I have needed to change my mindset before I can be an effective Board member who can support and uplift my Board member colleagues and Chair's success, and our overall Board's success. I'm eager for this challenge.

Board Member

We accomplished more in 3 days together than we have in the last 3 years.

Hospital sector leader

I was going to step down as the physician lead for our OHT, but after today, I am all in. This energy and momentum reaffirms my why.

Primary care physician and leader

We've accomplished so much more holding space in this way to work through things differently. This is the way forward!

Community health leader

Your ability to foster collaboration and gently challenge conventional thinking has been truly inspiring. The interactive sessions and discussions have not only expanded my knowledge but also encouraged me to think critically about how I can contribute to meaningful improvements in healthcare.

Board Chair

This process has opened my eyes to the importance of face-to-face interactions. It's transforming how we work together as a team.

Mental health care leader

This was one of the most transformative experiences of my entire career. I was the most inspired this week that I have been throughout my 15 years as a councillor.

Municipal councillor

The minute I let go of 'what's in it for me/my organization', that's when I started to embody what distributed leadership means that truly centers people and community.

Powerful! This is the first time I've seen Indigenous Ways of Knowing as something to emulate in mainstream healthcare.

Indigenous primary health care

Living these mindset shifts is going to require a lot of work and introspection… Feeling unstable as a leader is hard and it's draining. This isn't the technical work, this is altering my DNA.

Hospital sector lead

I was dreading coming here this week, but this has been the most worthwhile use of me and my management team's time.

Community health leader

This process has co-design embedded in its DNA. We are true partners and I wish more people understood how to do this because it's so meaningful and makes a difference.

Person with lived experience

We have never openly named and worked through our elephants and working through them has been a gamechanger in the way we are moving forward.

Community health leader

I get it now… and I would go to the end of the earth to support the OHT and our ED to do this.
